Professional Development9. Trans-Atlantic Plight: Challenges of Women in the Profession and Strategies for Change ** This program has been approved for 2.5 hours of recognized Professional Development by the Barreau du Québec Tuesday, August 18, 9:30 – 12:00 This program will focus on the challenges, issues and barriers faced by women in the legal profession on either side of the Atlantic Ocean. An international panel of jurists, including Professor Beth Bilson, Chair of the CBA Standing Committee on Equity, will identify the causes and examine the initiatives undertaken to address this global concern. |
