Innovaction Law Practice Innovation Awards & E-zine

Innovaction Awards

The search for innvation continues!  The College of Law Practice Management continues its global search for ingenuity in law practice management. Designed to inspire creative thinking in a field known for its over-reliance on precedent, the InnovAction Awards are intended not only to identify effective innovation but also to inspire it through international recognition. The awards are presented by the College of Law Practice Management, an honorary world-wide organization that recognizes excellence in law practice management.

Innovaction E-zine

InnovactionInnovation in law firms is a hot topic, and there’s no better example of that than a new e-zine just published by the College of Law Practice Management (COLPM). Innovaction contains free essays, roundtables and success stories that show how law firms can and do innovate in their marketing, management and client service delivery:

Innovaction is sponsored in part by CBA PracticeLink and the CBA’s National magazine.  It includes a strong dose of Canadian content: among the contributors are Gerry Riskin and Patrick McKenna of Edge International Consulting, Simon Chester of Heenan Blaikie LLP, and Dan Pinnington of practicePRO, while the e-zine was edited by National magazine editor-in-chief Jordan Furlong. Other luminary contributors include:

  • David Maister
  • Bruce MacEwen
  • Dennis Kennedy
  • Ron Friedmann
  • Matt Homann
  • Silvia Coulter
  • Merrilyn Astin Tarlton

... and many others. Read the premiere edition of Innovaction today!
