|
| |
Law firm leaders today are being expected to manage their firms during rapidly changing times and to generate positive results during a particularly challenging business climate. This highly interactive workshop provides participants with an opportunity to increase their knowledge of profit models and the levers of profitability, raise their industry awareness, and effectively manage change. Participants will hone their skills through a combination of presentation, case-based group discussion and one-on-one debriefing sessions.
|
| |
Strategies covered include:
- Levers of profitability – managing your dashboard
- Profit Models for different practice areas
- Practice area segmentation and structures
- Creating a burning platform
- Developing a sense of urgency
- Managing change
|
| |
By the end of the program, participants will understand the unique challenges facing law firm profitability; recognize the distinctions between different profitable structures and their relevance to various areas of practice; be able to recognize complacency and create a sense of urgency; and initiate and effectively manage change. The workshop also offers each participant a one-hour telephone meeting to discuss issues confidentially with the program faculty, at a mutually convenient time after the Conference.
