Return on Investment on Health and Wellness Initiatives in the Legal Profession
On January 22, 2009, the Work Life Balance Committee of the Canadian Bar Association British Columbia Branch (CBABC) held a luncheon presentation in Vancouver. UBC Professor Joe Weiler, UBC Research Associate Arun Mohan and Antonio Zivanovic of Corporate Occupational Solutions provided insight and recommendations for achieving greater balance in our professional lives.

Speaker Spotlight
Arun Mohan, BA (Hons), LLB, graduated from UBC Law School in 2006. Since that time, he has been busy with all things Olympic and workplace wellness. Specifically, he researches and writes extensively on the growth of sustainability as an Olympic value, the creation of legacies prior to and after the staging of a mega event (particularly the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games), and workplace health and fitness and work-life balance as a labour market imperative. He also speaks and presents on these topics in a variety of forums, including panel discussions, round-table events, and conferences. He presently does consulting work for 2010 Games Sponsor Teck Cominco, and VANOC, and is co-instructor of several courses at UBC Law School.
