Options for Lawyers Workgroup - Problem Solving Through Mindfulness

Description: In this workshop you will complete a short form of Personality Inventory to discover your individual personality style and your unique characteristic way of responding to challenges. Then through some experiential mindfulness exercises, you will learn some basic problem solving tools to enhance your ability to recognize a greater range of possible solutions. This will expand your capacity to respond to challenges that can arise in many aspects of your life, create a more open and spacious quality of awareness, and allow you to grow in the direction of optimal functioning.

Options for Lawyers is a networking, education and support group for lawyers making job or career transitions and for lawyers wishing to examine their options both personally and professionally.

This group meets the third Wednesday of each month from 12:15PM to 1:30PM in Vancouver at the LAP office, 1080 Mainland Street, Suite 415.

This workshop will be facilitated by Susan Burak, B.A., J.D., M.A. who is a counsellor for the Lawyers Assistance Program. Susan practiced law for 22 years, taught both internationally and locally, and has successfully helped many Lawyers through difficult situations.
