The Canadian Bar Association BC Branch and the Vancouver Bar Association were pleased to once again join forces to host the annual CBABC/VBA Golf Tournament on June 19, 2008 at the University Golf Club in Vancouver. The proceeds of this event fund an annual award for a UBC student and a UVic student who best exemplify the ideals served by the Canadian Bar Association. This year's tournament was a tremendous success raising more than $12,000 in support of the Law Student Awards fund.
This year 72 golfers participated in a fun-filled day of golf and prizes. After many bogies, pars and an eagle or two, golfers headed for the “19th Hole” and a fabulous buffet dinner and slideshow featuring tournament players. Congratulations to all winners and participants.
