Law Day 2009

Law Day was Saturday May 23, 2009 from 10:30am to 3:00pm

The day was a big success, the weather was great, and the BBQ saw a record amount of Law Day supporters. Also, the two mock trials had the court room packed, the costumes and the actors kept the audience entertained. There were a number of booths set up by various agencies, Legal Aid, Landlord and Tenant Board, Girls Inc. (our designated sponsor) and quite a few others. The original sketch of "Justice is Blind" went for $505 and our corporate sponsors were as generous as ever. We are expecting to raise about $5,000 as usual for Girls Inc.
