Brief Description:
As Senior Trust Officer, the candidate will be responsible for complex estate settlement files, administration of trusts and property of incapacitated persons. The candidate will also act as an expert within the team and must be able to support trust officers in the progress of their own files, as well as answer legal and tax questions. They will also have to offer a very high-quality customer service and work in collaboration with their colleagues in BMO Private Wealth. Finally, the candidate must be able to identify business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the line of business.
Qualifications:
- Lawyer designation is required.
- To have 10 or more years of professional experience in the estate and trust industry.
- Deep knowledge in the estate, trust and POA administration process and have a deep knowledge of tax related issues.
- Trust and Estate Professional (TEP) designation is an interesting asset.
- Lawyer designation is required.
- Competencies in oral and written communication.
- Competencies in collaboration and team work.
- Competencies in analysis and problem solving.
- Competencies on making data-driven decisions.
